The Mercure Shakespeare Hotel

The Mercure Shakespeare Hotel is a 16th century black and white Gabled Inn located in the town centre, a meeting place of writers, actors and artists since the 18th century. The Shakespeare retains much of its original architectural character but it has also benefited over the years from sympathetic and careful modernisation.
